It’s the age-old question that everyone asks at one point or another: “What do I want to be when I grow-up?” Usually, the answer revolves around fighting fires, orbiting in space, or celebrating touchdowns. But then you grow up, and reality sets in.

Reality for IT professionals, and engineers, doesn’t look to be that bad, however.

CareerCast, a career site for finding targeted job opportunities by industry, function and location, recently released its 12 best IT and engineering jobs of 2012. They factored in everything from environment, to employment growth, to stress levels.
